Caulonia, is located near Capo Stilo (the ancient Linou Akron. Cocynthum promontorium) on the outskirts of Monasterace Mareina and extends over the zone which stretches from the Ionian coastline to the so-called Piazzetta and Casino Quaranta, covering, in whole or in part. the regions Corelli (southern neapolis), Castellone (Doric temple), Faro (northern neapoils). Piazzetta (town Akropolis). Cuturi and cemeteries (western neapolis), Arsenale (the so-called Passoliera Vecchia suburban temple) and Bernardo (important Greek necropolis). Gioia Tauro, remains of ancient Metauros- Metauru,: various finds, including the remains of an ancient temple and a pottery equestrian group of the Classical Era; Greek-Roman  neocropoli, burial complex, with tomb contents  dating from VII B.C. to II century A.D. (explored by A. De Francisis, 1960); Roman country villa, remains of villa or farm Latin  Republican Era (I century. B.C.) belonging to  ancient Metaurum.
Locri, town of Magna Graecia founded towards  the mid VII B.C. by Greek colonists. Located circa 3.5 km to the south-west of present-day Locri between the Gerace and Portigiola  rivers.  The archeological remains include: houses (with impressive remains of workshops), large  sections of the defensive wall, remains of forts and water system, ruins of various buildings, including monumental buildings, remains of necropoli of various ages and civilizations.

Reggio Calabria, the entire city can be considered an archeological zone. Among the finds: traces of   Neolithic settlement (near the Calopinace river); Greek walls, ancient temples, remains (Vl century B.C. in Via Torrione);  temple of Diana Fascelide, remains of the stylobates of the imposing holy building of  the Greek Age of the Classical Period (V century B.C.); remains of another Greek temple (V century B.C., in Vicolo Griso-Laboccetta); Hellenistic theatre, remains of complex (IV-III centuries B.C. in Via Torrione); Latin baths, Province ancient necropoli (remains). 
Rosarno, ancient remains in a vast area between the Petrace and Messiron rivers. Remains of century early Iron Age settlement (IX-VII centuries B.C.) and remains of the Classical Age (VI-V  centuries B.C.). Excavations include: Greek necropoli, at Calderazzo and Pian delle Vigne;  remains of Greek temple; ruins of Greek and Roman buildings, other remains from the Greek, Roman and Medieval ages.
